Papakonstantinou and De Hert on Post GDPR EU laws and their GDPR mimesis

  • April 1, 2021

[Blogpost] Professors Vagelis Papakonstantinou and Paul De Hert have published a new blogpost 'Post GDPR EU laws and their GDPR mimesis. DGA, DSA, DMA and the EU regulation of AI'.

In their blogpost, Papakonstantinou and De Hert ponder: "Is GDPR mimesis such a bad thing after all? Does it not make sense for EU legislators to copy a model that has demonstrably served its purposes well, placing the EU at the international forefront when it comes to protecting individuals from the unwanted consequences of technology?"

The full blogpost can be found on the European Law Blog.
