  • June 16, 2021

On June 24, 2021, 11:30 - 12:30 am ET (5:30 - 6:30 pm CEST), Prof. Dr. Gloria González Fuster is invited to speak in the event 'Privacy Rights and Data Flows – A Conversation with Max Schrems'. The event is held online. It is organised by the Austrian Mashall Plan Foundation and co-sponsored with the Wilson Center’s Global Europe Program.

The panelists will discuss the challenges posed by different European and American approaches to privacy laws and data flows and address several questions. How do European approaches to privacy differ from those in the United States? How can the U.S. and the EU manage transatlantic turbulence over privacy rights and data flows? What are the prospects for a new transatlantic data transfer deal? What would be an ideal solution for data sharing among democracies?

You can find more information about the event and the registration process on the official event webpage.
