Following our lively debate on The Known Citizen, after the summer holidays, we will continue with our second to the last meeting for this year, delving into a dystopia:
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (first published 1932) (268 pages)
#PaintPrivacy: To make our discussion a bit more colourful, feel free to bring with you an image of a painting or a drawing that you associate with privacy, dystopias or both!
The September Book Club will take place on Monday 19 September 2022, 17:00-18:30 Brussels time. Our meeting is planned in a hybrid mode (online: MS Teams and offline: Room C.4.09 in Building C Etterbeek Campus).
The link to Book Club #8 is communicated to the LSTS mailing list. If you are not part of this mailing list and want to receive the link, send an email to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org .
If you plan to attend on campus, please send us a word a couple days before the meeting so as to know how many people to expect in person.
The Book Club is an informal and relaxed environment, that promotes discussion and creativity! As always, having read the book is not a prerequisite to participate in the Book Club.
