How does counting and computation transform the assumptions, operations and outcomes of the law? That is what you aim to find out as a postdoc. You will delve deeper into the use of natural language processing for legal search and quantified legal prediction. This way, you can combine cutting-edge computer science research with societally relevant problems.
The ERC Advanced Grant Project 'Counting as a Human Being in the Era of Computational Law' COHUBICOL is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the domain of natural legal language processing (NLLP).
The researcher will be part of COHUBICOL’s Computer Science team, which collaborates with the legal team to help lawyers better understand both the possibilities of NLLP and its limitations. They will be appointed at COHUBICOL's partner Radboud University in the Netherlands.
Application deadline: 31 May 2022. The full vacancy is published on the website of Radboud University.
