Javier López-Guzmán is a researcher at the Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) research group since October 2020. He is a member of the Health and Ageing Law Lab (HALL).
He obtained a LLM (Master of Laws, 2020) in International and European Law from the Institute for European Studies of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). He holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration (Universidad de Alicante, 2018). He studied a Masters degree in Law and Business of the Telecommunications, Internet and Audiovisual (Universidad Europea de Madrid, 2019).
Javier has previous experience in the legal private sector as a legal assistant in Finnova, a Belgian foundation for innovation. And as an intern lawyer at the law firm Cremades & Calvo Sotelo Abogados in Madrid, working on public administrative cases and IT law.
Currently he is involved in the ethical and legal analysis of two EU co-founded projects: FASTER and INTREPID.
