You can take a look at the full programme of the 4th European Data Protection Law Summer School ‘Advancing (with) EU data protection’ here. The Summer School takes place from 24 to 28 June 2019.
A great selection of experts from diverse backgrounds will elucidate upon an array of issues concerning: key features of EU’s primary and secondary law, and its fundamental rights dimension; the current status of GDPR implementation and open questions; obligations of data controllers and processors; data subject rights; data protection authorities and the role of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB); international data transfers, with particular attention to EU – United States (US) data transfers; the ‘Law Enforcement’ Data Protection Directive; data protection and humanitarian action; E-privacy: Quo vadis?; and the post-Brexit European data protection framework.
