Spyridoula joined the PhD programme at LSTS at the VUB Faculty of Law and Criminology in December 2020. She is an associate councilor judge at the Supreme Administrative Court of Greece (Council of State).
She holds a Bachelor in History and Archaeology, a Bachelor of Laws from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and an LL.M. in Space, Communication and Media Law (2020) from University of Luxembourg.
She was Vice Chair of the Draft Committee on the adaptation of Greek Law to the GDPR and Law Enforcement Directive. The Law No.4624/2019 was adopted by the Greek Parliament on the 29th of August 2019.
Her research interests focus on combining international space law with privacy and data protection law. Her LL.M. thesis “Rethinking Privacy in European Space Law-Shed light on Copernicus and Galileo -the two EU space ‘flagship’ projects- with regard to EU Data Protection Law” has been published on the University of Luxembourg web page.
