STAR project announces series of events in Brussels (October 17, 2019) and in Tirana (October 22, 2019) - Launch of training material for DPAs and DPOs

  • August 28, 2019

Upon the successful completion of the STAR project | Support Training Activities on the data protection Reform, a series of events has been planned to take place in Brussels (Belgium) and in Tirana (Albania) this October.

The events will introduce and discuss the final results of the STAR project and will identify the challenges and best practices around data protection training. The panels will launch the ready-made, easy-to-customise and easy-to-run training materials, (i.e. 11 Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, training scenarios, further supporting forms as well as a handbook for trainers and users of the materials) targeted for DPAs and DPOs. The material in its entirety is freely and publicly available in digital form at the project’s website.

During the events, the speakers will guide the audience through the STAR materials and, in form of a discussion, will gather their feedback and experience from training activities thereafter.

You can find further information about the conference taking place in Brussels on 17 October 2019 here and the final event taking place, as an official side event of the 41st ICDPPC in Tirana, on 22 October here.
