Fairness and vulnerability in data protection: Gianclaudio Malgieri at 2nd Istanbul Privacy Symposium (22 November 2019)

On 22 November 2019, LSTS researcher Gianclaudio Malgieri is invited to speak in the 2nd Istanbul Privacy Symposium: Law, Ethics, and Technology. The Symposium is organised with the collaboration of the Istanbul Bilgi University's IT Law Institute and the Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centers ('NoC') in Istanbul, Turkey. The aim of the event, building upon last year's theme concerning data protection and innovations, is to trigger discussions on data driven technologies, regulation and ethics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and human rights.

Malgieri will participate in the morning session on Data Driven Technologies and Regulation and his talk will explore the notions of fairness and vulnerability in the Data Protection framework.
