LSTS organises and supports a wide range of events. Regular events taking place at VUB include the Law, (Slow) Science, Technology and Society (L(S)STS) Research Gatherings, Gender, Law & Technology Series and sessions of the Weekly Research Gatherings (WRG) of the Metajuridica Department. LSTS is also involved in the organisation of major annual conferences and gatherings, such as the Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) International Conference, and the Privacy Camp.
In addition, many other events are organised by the Brussels Privacy Hub (BPH), the d.pia.lab, the Privacy Salon and the Cyber and Data Security Lab (CDSL). The BPH notably supports the BPH Privacy & Data Protection Doctoral Seminars, the Meet the Author Series and the series on Specifying the GDPR.
LSTS is also routinely involved in the organisation of events linked to the research projects to which it participates.
