[Event] Marking the public launch of the project Articulating Law, Technology, Ethics and Politics: Issues of Enforcement and Jurisdiction of EU Data Protection Law under and beyond the General Data Protection Regulation (ALTEP-DP), a kick off event on Fairness, Computation and the GDPR will be held on 20 January 2020, co-organised by LSTS, COHUBICOL, Brussels Privacy Hub and d.pia.lab.
The event will take place from 12:30 to 16:00 and is hosted in the Lisbon Room of the Institute of European Studies (Pleinlaan 5, B-1050 Brussels).
The cross-disciplinary research project ALTEP-DP explores automated compliance with the GDPR, data protection across borders and the ethification of privacy and data protection, as well as how these issues illuminate the distribution and articulations of law, technology, politics and ethics in the governance of privacy and data protection, by and beyond the GDPR.
