[COVID-19/consultation] The Interfederal Working Group on the Belgian contact-tracing app (Coronalert app), supported by the Interfederal Committee for Testing and Tracing, launched today a public consultation on the Belgian contact-tracing app. Feedback can be provided until 31 August 2020. A second consultation will be launched when the Data Protection Impact Assessment is drafted. Relevant material and resources can be found on the consultation website.
Since mid-May 2020, the Working Group has supported the development of the Coronalert app for Belgium and has provided advice to the Federal and Regional Governments
Prof. Dr. Rosamunde Van Brakel (LSTS/imec-SMIT Vrije Universiteit Brussel) participates as expert member in the Working Group.
