VUB Today interviews Prof. van Brakel about the Coronalert app

[Interview] Professor Rosamunde Van Brakel, as holder of the Chair of Surveillance Studies and member of the interfederal working group in charge of the development of the contract-tracing app Coronalert for Belgium was intereviewed by VUB Today about the launch of the Belgian corona tracing app and privacy in the times of corona. The Belgian contact tracing application was officially launched today 30 September 2020 in Belgium. More information about the app can be found at www.coronalert.be.

Moreover, since 25 September runs the second public consultation, which aims to further identify the main legal, ethical, social, technical and security challenges linked to the deployment of a contact tracing app in Belgium.
