[Vacancy] LSTS is looking for a motivated researcher to join its team on the use of patient data in the context of innovative healthcare methods. The successful applicant will work with the Health and Ageing Law Lab (HALL) led by Professor Paul Quinn.
HALL and LSTS are intensely networked organizations. We lead and perform EU co-funded projects as part of consortia with other representatives of e.g. academia and industry. We also cooperate actively with many leading universities outside Europe. Our researchers are also active in international organizations such as the UN, OECD, international humanitarian organizations, and others.
As part of their duties, the candidate will be working on a research and innovation project co-funded by the European Commission (TENDER) relating to the development of novel methods to assemble and federate patient data with complex co-morbidities. In particular, the researcher is expected to:
- provide legal and ethical advice to project partners;
- assess the societal risks and impacts caused by the proposed system and contribute to an informed co-design development processes
