On 19 May 2021, LSTS researchers Laura Drechsler and Juraj Sajfert will speak at the European Law academy (ERA) seminar on ‘Data Protection and the Law Enforcement Directive’.
Laura’s talk will focus on ‘Protecting fundamental rights within the setting of law-enforcement transfer of personal data’, where she will present her research on international personal data transfers in the context of the Law Enforcement Directive (published outcomes are available here and here). Juraj will speak about ‘Protecting privacy and personal data: an analysis of CJEU judgments within the law enforcement field’. The programme of the seminar can be found here.
