The ARC - Awareness Raising Campaign for SMEs project team, consisiting of the Vrije University Brussels, the Croatian DPA (AZOP) and the Irish DPA (DPC), is honored and delighted to announce the upcoming conference 'GDPR 3 years on: The challenges and experiences of the European SMEs'. The focus of the conference is on the needs and challenges of the European SMEs in the implementation of the GDPR.

11:15 - 11:25 - Keynote speech, Mr. Olivier Micol, Head of Unit Data Protection, Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, European Commission
11: 25 - 12:25 - Panel discussion in English "The impact of the GDPR across industries: state of play and future developments". Panelists: Prof. Dr. Paul De Hert (Professor at VUB and Tilburg University), Ms. MB Donnely (Assistant Information Commissioner of Irish DPC), Mr. Igor Vulje (Deputy Director, AZOP Croatia), Marija Bošković Batarelo (Lawyer specialized in GDPR), Marijan Bračić (IT developer from Business Intelligence), and Prof. Paolo Balboni (Ph.D.), ICT Legal Consulting and Professor at Faculty of Law Maastricht University. The panel will be moderated by Prof. Tihomir Katulić (Ph.D.), Faculty of Law University of Zagreb, Croatia.
