The Symposium 'Genome Editing, Health innovation, and Responsible Regulation' is held online by the Nordic Permed Law on 3&4 of November 2021. Anastasiya Kiseleva is presenting there on “Somatic Genome Editing with the Use of AI: Big Promises but Doubled Legal Issues”. She will speak about the legal frameworks applicable to both AI and somatic genome editing, about how exactly the frameworks shall work together and what might be the relevant legal challenges: hierarchy between frameworks, rights and obligations of involved subjects, the influence of the typical issues posed by AI (lack of transparency, of control and predictability) on the somatic genome-editing procedures.
