On 16 May 2019, LSTS postdoctoral researcher Marco Giacalone opened the International Seminar “Algorithmic procedures in civil law matters". Giacalone with Tatjana Josipović, Professor of Law at the University of Zagreb reflected upon the application of algorithms to the solution of national and cross-border civil matters into the allocation of goods, in particular with respect to the interplay between available rights and mandatory rules.
The seminar presented the interim findings and results of the CREA project as well as other cutting-edge topics and challenges in the area of algorithmization of dispute resolution.
