The Brussels Privacy Hub (BPH)’s European Data Protection Law Summer School is the only Summer School fully devoted to European data protection law and policy taking place in Brussels, gathering each year in the capital of Europe participants from all over the world interested in knowing how to apply but also how to situate, and think beyond, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Combining lectures by internationally recognised speakers, hand-on practical cases, and role-playing, it brings students directly into the heart of European Union’s legal and policy-making to give them a full-fledged vision of the challenges and opportunities of EU’s data protection, and its global role.
