On 25 June 2019, LSTS Postdoctoral Researcher Marco Giacalone will present the CREA project at the CREA Report on Dissemination seminar concerning the “Use of artificial intelligence – algorithms in dispute resolution in the field of civil law”. The event will take place in Athens (Greece), at NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI premises. The seminar will be live-streamed and simultaneous interpretation in English and Greek will be available.
Topics to be discussed: Practical Reason and Decision-making through computerized methods; recent developments in the use of Artificial Intelligence in the judicial system; available rights and mandatory rules in civil law matters.
