Marking the public launch of the project Articulating Law, Technology, Ethics and Politics: Issues of Enforcement and Jurisdiction of EU Data Protection Law under and beyond the General Data Protection Regulation (ALTEP-DP), this event will tackle the notion of fairness as a bridge bringing together – or not – the worlds of computing and data protection law.
The cross-disciplinary research project ALTEP-DP explores automated compliance with the GDPR, data protection across borders and the ethification of privacy and data protection, as well as how these issues illuminate the distribution and articulations of law, technology, politics and ethics in the governance of privacy and data protection, by and beyond the GDPR.
Participation is free but please register in advance by contacting Simone Casiraghi.
