Biography
Kimmy joined LSTS in March 2026, as a Marie Curie Fellow in the HARNESS project on AI and Data-Intensive Technologies. In the project, she explores human centricity in AI, privacy, and data law, while her PhD focuses on the legal-philosophical concepts in EU technology law.
She holds an LL.M. in Law and Technology from Leiden University, and interdisciplinary bachelor’s degrees in Politics and in Law from the University of Freiburg and Maastricht University. She has also previously worked at the University of Freiburg and Leiden University.
