On 27 September 2019, István Böröcz, Audrey Van Scharen and Eugenio Mantovani presented the interim results of their research at the 7th European Conference on Health Law 'Innovation & Healthcare - New challenges for Europe'. The LSTS researchers addressed the topic: 'Are well-being apps in good (e)health? Introducing the borderline problem in light of the new medical devices regulation'.
The same day, Prof. Paul Quinn also held a talk about 'The Unofficial Apartheid – Scientific research for public and private bodies under the GDPR'.
