Sophia Bordier, PhD student in Political Sciences at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne, is visiting the LSTS during this semester.
On 7 December 2023, 12:30 to 13:30 CET, Sophia will present her work-in-progress, entitled ‘The ePrivacy reform (2017 - … ): a study of a European data protection reform’, followed by discussion.
Sophia's thesis centers on the ePrivacy reform initiated in 2017, aiming to comprehend the social-political tensions involved in shaping European data protection policies. The research predominantly relies on archival sources such as official documents, press articles, and interviews.
