On 19 November 2024, 14:00h – 15:00h CET, Claudia Negri Ribalta (PhD in Computer Science, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, MSCA-COFUND YIA fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies University of Luxembourg) will present her work-in-progress, entitled ‘Software development that satisfies the stakeholders' mental model of data protection regulatory requirements: a case of transdisciplinarity’, followed by discussion.
In this talk, we will discuss the role of transdisciplinarity in addressing data protection regulatory requirements, highlighting the role of lawyers, requirements engineering and conceptual modeling. In particular, the talk will present the ongoing MSCA-funded research on the proposed Ontology-Based method for Interdisciplinary Data Protection Impact Assessment (OBI-PIA), hosted by IRiSC and the IAS of the University of Luxembourg. The objective of OBI-PIA is to provide a lightweight and usable approach to interdisciplinary data protection impact assessment. It leverages ontological domain conceptualization and model-based discussions to build bridges between computer science, legal studies and data protection policy.
This event will be in a hybrid format (both on-campus and online). Interested participants wishing to take part can register by sending an email to Pablo.Rodrigo.Trigo.Kramcsak@vub.be.
