As part of his or her duties, the candidate will be working on a research and innovation project in the area of e-health technologies co-funded by the European Union. The project will seek to create an integrated care ecosystem for assisting people with chronic diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and comorbidity with Cardiovascular Diseases through the use of effect-based micro tools. Such “tools” are expected to recognize the mood of a person and thus adapt the system’s probes to the person’s needs via a multi-sensorial system, even in the most severe cases, and match with clinical (from Electronic Health Records EHRs) and clerical patient information. To attain its objectives, the project foresees the involvement of human research participants.
