A great selection of experts from diverse backgrounds will elucidate upon an array of issues concerning: key features of EU’s primary and secondary law, and its fundamental rights dimension; the current status of GDPR implementation and open questions; obligations of data controllers and processors; data subject rights; data protection authorities and the role of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB); international data transfers, with particular attention to EU – United States (US) data transfers; the ‘Law Enforcement’ Data Protection Directive; data protection and humanitarian action; E-privacy: Quo vadis?; and the post-Brexit European data protection framework.
