Robert Napier

Robert holds an LL.M. in Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Management from Maastricht University, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master of Advocacy (M.Adv.) from the University of Malta. He has extensive experience in the public sector, working within the European Union institutions. He is currently working in the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU as a Coordinator at the Directorate-General for Translation (DG LING), where he deals with HR, legal matters, and serves as a Data Protection Correspondent. Robert’s research will explore the intersection of data protection and social equity in higher education and vocational training institutions in Belgium and Malta.
