Sibel Top

Sibel is the Project Management Officer (PMO) for the LSTS Large Research Group and the DATAUNION project, led by Prof. Rocco Bellanova, and the Director of the Fundamental Rights in a Changing World Lab (FRCL). In her role at LSTS, she works closely with the group’s Director, Prof. Gloria González Fuster, to support the group’s activities in communications, finances, mobility and onboarding, while acting as a bridge between the group and the university’s central services. For DATAUNION, she supports the project’s administrative and financial management.

Sibel joined VUB in 2017 and has since worked on several EU-funded projects addressing topics such as human trafficking, the fight against online child sexual abuse and exploitation, and the promotion and enhancement of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. She holds a PhD in Law, funded by the FWO.
