The Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and its partner, the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), are opening their doors to international researchers seeking academic freedom in Europe. Both universities will be opening calls for 36 excellent postdoctoral researchers from around the world. Thanks to the Region’s Brains for Brussels initiative, VUB and ULB actively invite outstanding professors to relocate to Brussels. Additionally, 18 apartments are available for international fellows at the Brussels Institute for Advanced Studies (BIAS).
The VUB is an internationally recognised knowledge hub in fields such as climate science and sustainability, AI and robotics, biochemistry and IVF, geopolitics and global security, providing a dynamic and internationally oriented research environment.
