Research Line 3 of the 'Articulating Law, Technology, Ethics & Politics: Issues of Enforcement and Jurisdiction of EU Data Protection Law under and beyond the GDPR' (ALTEP-DP) project will explore the still increasing role of ethics in European privacy and data protection, which is not an isolated occurrence but part of a much larger phenomenon that we call the ‘ethification’ of policies and regulation.
