The Gender, Law and Technology sessions build on the foundations of the earlier Gender, Technology and Law (GTL) series co-organised by the Law Science Technology and Society (LSTS) and Fundamental Rights Centre (FRC) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). These sessions continue a shared commitment to critical engagement at the intersections of gender, law, and emerging technologies.
The LSTS Gender, Law & Technology reading group has been active again since September 2023, deepening its exploration of how gender intersects with legal and AI technological frameworks. Its primary aim is to provide a dedicated space for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to come together monthly, engaging in dialogue on key themes and critically reflecting on selected readings.
